The Brainerd Lakes Area’s Whitefish Chain of Lakes Region has more activities and attractions than lakes. You’ll never be bored — even on the occasional cloudy day! If you’re looking to explore the great outdoors, you can rent a boat and explore one of the Whitefish or Big Trout lakes, hit a ball at one of the 2 dozen local golf courses, drop a line to catch some fish, bike through the communities or along the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway, explore area trails by walking, hiking or even a-top a horse, go birding or geocaching, take the kids to an area playground – the outdoor options are endless!

If you’d prefer to be inside for one reason or another, you can go back in time to area museums, shop the local stores, dine in local restaurants, relax at a spa, take an interesting and educational factory tour, or just head to the movies.

There are many wonderful local community celebrations that take place in the Whitefish Chain of Lakes Area year-round. Be sure to check out Crosslake Winterfest, Crosslake’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Pine River’s Summerfest, Pequot Lakes’ 4th of July celebration, Pequot Lakes Bean Hole Days, Pine River’s Heritage Days, Taste of Pequot, Crosslake Days and so many more!

Boat Rental

Rentals available Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day weekend! Conveniently located on the beautiful Whitefish Chain. Enjoy your day on the lake with a Premier pontoon. All pontoons are set up with a 115 HP, 4-stroke Mercury motor, comfortable furniture, rear entry, swim ladder, changing room, low bar, depth finder, and an AM/FM stereo with bluetooth and a USB port.

We have kayaks, water floats (lily pads), and paddleboards available for half-day, full-day, overnight, and multi day rentals. We can shuttle the kayaks to your location. Crow Wing Kayaks are tough, but lightweight, with a polyethylene shell that provides superior durability and ease of transport. They are designed in a unique way that provides uncommon stability over a traditional kayak.
