This property is located just north of Tucson in the Casas Adobes region of Tucson, Arizona. This home for rent in Casas Adobes is only a 1/2 mile from the Omni Tucson Golf Resort and Spa, yet it feels like you have gone country in the Sonoran Desert. While still being within 3 minutes of groceries, and very close to our favorite restaurants, hiking, and close to I-10 to reach the rest of the Tucson area.
The main house has a Mesquite kitchen, designed by the owner, and built by a wood craftsman in Mexico. The wood is grown, harvested, and dried, and cut on the location of the build. It has 2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths with imported vanities and antique pillars.
The Guest House has 2 bedrooms with a kitchenette and a custom tiled bath. Both houses are tied together by a walled courtyard for your pet's convenience and yours.
The pool was built in March of 2019 with a pebble tech finish. Heated pool and surrounded by a privacy wall with a covered outdoor room for watching the pool activities or relaxing at night under the dimmed outdoor lighting.
What really separates this Casas Adobes vacation rental in Tucson are the 3 separate outdoor patios, 2 are covered. One has an outdoor dining table. Mountain views can be found both in the front and back of the vacation rental property.
This is a 1.5-acre luxury vacation rental property for privacy and some of the largest organ cactus found in the Tucson area. If you like grapefruit or cumquats, you can enjoy them both on this vacation rental property when in the harvest season.
This place has a calming vibe, and I think it is our most relaxing luxury vacation rental home property in Tucson.

August 22, 2020 at 9:11 pmMy wife and I (and occasionally family, relatives and friends) stayed in this magnificent property for a month; from approximately mid-February through mid-March. This is probably one of the nicest places we’ve rented. It wasn’t only the location, which is conveniently located, close to just about everything, but still has a rural feel to it. The area is great for walking, with a bird sanctuary nearby. And it’s close to magnificent state parks like Catalina. Also, the house and guesthouse and pool area were lovely. They definitely lived up to the photos. It was just a very nice place to stay for a month; we will have no problem renting it again. Finally, our hosts – Mark and Padget – were gracious, responsive, and informative. All-in-all, this was an superb experience. We highly recommend it!

August 22, 2020 at 9:12 pmMy husband and I enjoyed a true Tucson desert escape at this beautiful property. We spent the month enjoying both the courtyard and pool area where we were entertained by abundant birds and wildlife while surrounded by peace and calm. The pool was crystal clear and the best part of each day was floating around in the pool gazing up at the bright blue sky. The home and casita are well appointed and comfortable. I did a lot of cooking and the kitchen was stocked with all the tools needed to make meals. The outdoor grill was a wonderful treat. We discovered lots of great restaurants, shopping, botanic gardens, hiking, biking, and walking trails – even a bird sanctuary – right nearby! It is rare to find a rental of this calibre that accepts pets and we were incredibly grateful to have our dog with us for the month. Mark is an extremely responsive host and was always available when we had questions. I highly recommend a stay at Hopdown!
